Managing Partner - East,

IHM Bhubaneswar, 1999. Worked for Club Himalaya Nagarkot, Nepal; Royal Mirage, Dubai; Al Bustan Intercontinental, Muscat; and Move n Pick, Doha. He joined Aramak Patman Services Pvt Ltd as Training Executive – pan India.

Ayan is married to Archita. When not busy training or eating his favourite Bengali fish curry, he enjoys good Bengali authored novels by Nimay Chatterjee, Samoresh Bose and Shirshndu Chatterjee. Besides being the Managing Partner – East, Ayan also takes care of HTI‟s training in House Keeping and F&B Service.

Sarayu Iyer
Head - Operations,

With an Airline Diploma, Trade Wings; and Tour Managers, Kuoni Academy. She has worked with – Hotel Leela, American Express, E-funds International, Kuoni Academy and Fullerton India Pvt Ltd.
Sarayu Iyer

Held jobs like Front Office Executive, Team Leader, Trainer, Mentor and Manager Customer Service. Sarayu has coached teams of up to 150 people in customer service, communication, English grammar, telephone etiquette, service quality and has mentored individuals.

Sarayu loves travelling, movies, reading – humour, fiction and spirituality. She is married to Ravi Kiran, Vice President - Sales and Operations, Audatex Solutions Pvt Ltd. Besides being the Head – Operations, Sarayu also takes care of the Customer Care and Front Office training for HTI.

Vikas Vijayan

Started his career with Sheraton, Bahrain (2000 – 2004) and then moved to UK (2005 – 2010) "Ghunghat Club", Wembley and "The Indian Princess", Kent.

In 2010, he returned to India and joined Pan India Food Solutions at "Purple Rain" (lounge bar at Crossroads Mahalaxmi) and then Spaghetti Kitchen, Powai.

Vikas has worked his way up from Busboy to Restaurant Manager and shares his success mantra with the various restaurant teams that he trains for HTI. Simultaneously, he is busy developing more trainers to meet HTI"s ever expanding operations. He loves surfing the net to enhance his beverage knowledge and flashing his dimpled smile to enhance his charm quotient.

Nazir Usman

Business Management from Welingkars. IT professional for the last 20 years. NLP advanced level practitioner. An engineer by qualification but a trainer by passion.

A behaviour skills specialist, he was trainer with the LIYA group and conducted programmes on mind power and behaviour skills.

He helps HTI"s trainers unleash their hidden potential through motivational and mentoring sessions. Ensuring that Team HTI delivers consistent, high quality training.

Despite being a dedicated family man (married to Reshma, they have two children Alinaa and Ayaan) and a passionate trainer, he still finds time to indulge his passion for trekking. Nazir has spent several days trekking in the mountains of Ladakh, Sikkim and Nepal.

Koustav Ghosh
Head Trainer, Delhi

Hotel Management, IIAS Kolkata, (1st Class) 1994. Started off his career in Hyderabad with Hotel Viceroy as Trainee Captain.

Moved on to Country Club as a Management Trainee and then spent four years with Taj Group as as Catering Assistant. Joined Speciality Restaurant Ltd (SRL) as a Senior Captain and quickly rose to Restaurant Manager. While with SRL, he decided to exploit his nurturing nature and shifted to training and coaching and moved on to be the Regional Coach - North.

After a six month sabbatical, he joined HTI as Training Manager East and looks after our Kolkata and Orissa restaurants including Oberoi Airport Services.

Koustav loves interacting with people and studying them from a psychological perspective. He lives by the motto “if you cannot do good for a person, at least wish him well”. An ardent cricket buff, he is married to Indrani and they have a daughter Oindrila. His daughter is his inspiration as she achieves so much despite being a special (autistic) child.

Tanveer Pinjari
Head Trainer – Pune & Nashik,

Diploma in Hotel Management, Anjuman-I-Islam, Mumbai (2005), and BSc in Hotel & Tourism Management, YCMOU. Always in search of learning, Tanveer is currently pursuing his MBA in HR.

Joined RKHS as an Executive in F&B Production and Service, moved on to Edinburgh Marriott Hotel, UK, as a Commi Chef and then to Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, USA. Back in India, he joined Mumbai College of HMCT, Alibag, as Principal cum Lecturer. Tanveer joined HTI as a Training Manager and today heads the Pune & Nashik regions, besides heading the training for the VKOFR chain (22 units all India).

Married to Benazir, Tanveer enjoys cooking Mughlai and Konkani cuisines. He aims to travel the globe, imparting knowledge, interacting with people from different cultures and enjoying life...

Training Manager,

Sophia College, Food Science & Technology, 1996 and Academy of Culinary Education (ACE), Goa, 1999. Industrial Training at Oberoi, Mumbai, and Management Trainee, ITC Grand Maratha.

Joined Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines kitchen brigade, part of the opening team for "Brilliance of the Sea" (2001 – 05); then moved on to Carnival Cruises and was on the opening team for "Freedom" (2007 – 09). Also worked on other ships - "Splendour of the Sea", "Sovereign of the Sea", "Fascination" and "Paradise". Currently at HTI she handles restaurant training and specifically focuses on communication.

A charming young lady who loves to cook, entertain and socialise, Vanessa"s passion for training is only rivalled by her love for chocolates.

Shalan Gosavi
Training Manager,

Hospitality & Tourism Management from IHTM, Mumbai. She started her career with Barista as a Brew Master and moved on to The Park, Navi Mumbai, in Banquet Sales.

She shifted to Kamat Hotels as a Training Executive and travelled across India imparting hospitality training – Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Nashik & Aurangabad; and Lotus Resorts – Karwar & Goa. Her warm, friendly and gregarious nature was noticed and she was transferred to the Front Office as a Guest Relations Manager. After a short sabbatical to find herself, she joined HTI. Shalan specializes in imparting F&B training to our clients across Maharashtra.

She loves nature and thrives on photographing it in all its splendour. Shalan is passionate about self-improvement and enjoys reading self-help books and biographies of imminent persons while striving to be a good human being.

Training Manager,

HMCT from MGV, Nashik, and currently doing his MBA in HR. Worked at Hotel Silver Inn and Hotel City Pride in Nashik as HK & FO Supervisor. At HTI, he trains staff in HK and F&B Service across Maharashtra.

The zeal that is packed into Tushar's small frame is amazing... He's goal-oriented, thirsts for knowledge and is a quick learner who thrives on networking. When not busy training, he enjoys a game of cricket or acting – he won the Best Actor & Director Award at his university"s Inter-Collegiate Drama Competition.

Alpesh Renuse
Training Manager,

HMCT, Kamat"s College of Hotel Management, Mumbai. He debuted at Hotel Grand Hometel Sarovar, Mumbai, as a room attendant and then joined Dusters Total Solutions Services as a Training Supervisor. Currently with HTI, he imparts HK and F&B training across Maharashtra.
Alpesh Renuse

Alpesh is a football and cricket lover and even coaches his trainees in cricket. Very hardworking and down-to-earth, he connects instantly with participants and his passion for learning is always in full throttle.

Head - IT & Logistics,

He is passionate about technology and advices only hands-on experience to make a thorough high tech professional.
Bhavin Thakkar
He continuously focuses on R&D in IT products (softwareand hardware) and surfs the internet for IT-related information. He aims to use his technological skills to benefit all mankind; while at HTI, he uses technology to develop audio and visual e-SOPs (electronic - Standard Operating Procedures). He also upgrades HTI’s customised in-house trainer software ‘SonVin’.

Listening to music and technological e-books are his favourite pursuits. Playing table tennis and outdoor sports like cricket, football and badminton even for a short period relaxes and rejuvenates him. Bhavin is married to Hetal and they have a two-and-a-half-year-old techno savvy son, Kahyaan.
